Embrace the New Year by keeping things sweet and simple

Happy New Year!

As I say good-bye to 2013 and hello to 2014, I've been able to reflect on all the amazing and positive changes I've made both personally and professionally. The New Year is always a good time for a fresh start and a new beginning. The biggest change for me has been the re-brand for Inklings Design. Finding a place within myself to bring Everyday Haiku into my graphic design practice as a custom product and service has allowed me to offer something so special and unique to my clients. Many exciting opportunities are in the works as well as the challenge of creating a healthy and simple balance in life and business. Years ago I decided not to make New Years resolutions, to me they seem silly and should really be practiced everyday. Not to say that I always do that either! I like to set goals instead and try my best to reach them, it’s a good way to keep everything in perspective and realistic. By keeping things simple, I'm able to achieve my goals better. I see so many people heading back to the gym, going on diets and setting themselves up for failure.  I found this great article about failure with a positive message about the gift of learning from our failures. Which I'm sure we can all relate to and have been there.

As I move forward into this new year, I'm excited to growing, learning and most of all helping my clients with their marketing materials so they can succeed and grow as well. By creating beautiful designs that are also clear in their brand messages will help get them noticed and leave an impression. If you’re ready to take your business to the next level I’d love to help.
